It all starts with seven words that resonate in the hearts of all families ... The Family That Prays Together Stays Together ... the slogan of Father Patrick Peyton, CSC, so many years ago.
Family Rosary seeks to support the spiritual well-being of the family through prayer, especially the Rosary. You can join us online or at our events: retreats, conferences, seminars, parish missions and days of reflection as we seek to bring your family together. We serve families that pray together daily, those that have never prayed together and those that have no idea where to begin. Let us be a source of information, inspiration and support as you strive to strengthen your family's spirituality.
Let us join you in prayer. As you move through our website, know that we are praying for you and your family. Prayer is an important part of our everyday life in our headquarters in North Easton, Massachusetts, USA, and in 16 other countries. We receive prayer intentions via email, web postings, snail mail and also by phone. We ensure that the many intentions that are received are read and placed in a basket before the altar in the Chapel of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary. These intentions include prayers of thanksgiving, prayers for a sick relative or friend, someone who needs spiritual or physical healing or many other situations in life that people are living and are in need of God’s help, mercy and grace. Join us in prayer. Send us your petitions and pray for others who have posted their petitions on this site.
Years ago, our founder, Servant of God Father Patrick Peyton, CSC, wanted to ensure every member of every family had a Rosary in their hands when they prayed. We continue that important mission today through our Rosaries for the World program. Every year more than a million Rosaries are sent to schools, parishes, prayer groups, youth ministry groups, prisons, and the military to name just a few - free of charge. We continue to fulfill the request for rosaries each and everyday.
Wherever we are and wherever you and your family are, we are here to support you. All our staff and volunteers share a common goal and vision: to inspire families to pray together and to understand and embrace the value of this time spent together. As a result, families are praying the Rosary every day. After all, as Father Peyton so aptly said so many years ago, the family that prays together stays together.
